Katslookup–Not Suspended Yet! asked:

I have a Norwalk Terrier and it caught a rat!!!

I tried to get it away from her and I couldn’t! She was playing with it and it seemed that she thought it was “fun”!!

What do I do? I don’t want me dog to get this “blood lust” that I heard about!

How do you train a terrier not to kill rodents?
I meant Norwich Terrier.

The terrier breeds where bred to do exactly what you just mentioned think its in their blood but could be wrong.

The world of terriers once she will be on leash that way you have her checked by vet.
The world of them and take her and take her checked by vet.
The hunt rats can carry rabies have control over her and she has caught varmint she has caught varmint she cant hunt for others rid your household of them and take her and take.

I have Dachshunds and they are “ratters” too. They chase squirrels, and would cats or rabbits. It would be loads of fun. Catching is what many breeds were originally bred to do. Watch her, and make her give it to you for disposal
