My sister has the Virus, she began vomitting lastnight all through the night multiple times andi have a servere phobia of vomiting, i was having a panic attack in the other room with a towel over my mouth and nose because i heard its airborne; and i spent alot of time outside on the porch in the rain breathing “safe air”. I went to bed at 4 am, with a napkin over my mouth and nose hoping for any chance of prevention and wash my hands sooo frequently. I dont touch doorknobs, or anything she touched. Im not sure if she has washed her hands i havent been in contact with her at all she is asleep in the living room and whenever i go in the bathroom or living room i hold my breath or use a towel. Everything in the bathroom where she was vomiting, is that contagious if i touch it? Use it? Such as toothbrushes…if they were sitting out on the counter and its airborne cant i catch it by simply using my toothbrush? I need to shower tonight, and im freaking out cause ill be in that room breathing where its supposively airborne. and probally the worst spot due ot where she was getting sick.

I am also concerned that it is the Norwalk virus going around here in Northern CA. A friend of ours was over recently and had the Noro virus but said he’d been OK for a couple of days. Then my partner came down with a severe case of diarrhea and now so have I, though it is several days later.

Since the middle of July I have had 4 instances of Norwalk like symptoms - extreme tiredness, vomiting and diarrhea. I know I’m not pregnant so am I just unlucky or is there more going on here?

Additional Info: I’m also diabetic (type 2 and on insulin) when I go too long without eating I also feel nauseous but I typically feel better after eating.
